Two senior industry executives, Gilles Vanhouwe and Jesper Højer, will be joined by Ralf Majer-Abele, editor-in-chief of the two pet magazines PET worldwide and pet, who will moderate the conference, to discuss the key trends in the pet industry and how it will develop in the future.

Gilles Vanhouwe started his career in strategy consulting at Bain & Company, where he worked with blue-chip clients in the consumer goods and retail industries, before joining Verlinvest in 2018. He currently leads the European pet care investments and Benelux activities.

Jesper Højer is the former Global CEO of Lidl International. He is currently an investor and holds several board positions in the retail and consumer sector. He is Chairman of the leading Belgian pet retail chain Tom & Co and Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Company.
